While the school held the Meet the Teachers evening, some of our families came into class and took part in our learning. Check out a few of the A-Wing parents in action.
It’s been a busy week this week at Waiouru School! Here’s a wrap up of what’s been going on around the school via some of our class blogs …
- The Ninja Ratas’ are on Twitter! They took part in a Nationwide Tweet-Meet with the mighty mighty All Blacks!! See their post here: http://waiourujuniors.edublogs.org/2015/10/22/the-ninja-ratas-are-tweeting/
- Our Rangatahi are building a bike track at the back of the field behind the tree stumps. They pinched my lawn mower yesterday to mark out the route. You can see their progress so far here: http://waioururobins.edublogs.org/2015/10/23/making-a-bike-track/
- The Minions have been skipping and creating some amazing art work. You can read their weekly wrap here: http://waiouru.edublogs.org/2015/10/23/term-4-week-2/
It’s always a thrill to get a comment on your blog, please take a moment to leave one for our kids on their blogs 🙂

We were so lucky to have a visit from the Dr Seuss ‘subbus’ and other amazing vehicles travelling New Zealand for the ‘Variety Bash.’ It was great seeing all the characters from our favourite stories and we were grateful to receive goodies from the teams. Thank you Variety Bash!
Mrs Kings Mum, Dad and Sister were travelling on the ‘Bash.’ We know them better as…Fox in socks (Kandy Mott), Star-Bellied Sneetch (Brenda Webb), Cat in the Hat (Martin Webb) and one of the ‘Who’s’ from Whoville (Teri Webb).
